Account Executive -E-commerce

As an Account Executive, you will be a key player in our go-to-market team, focusing on expanding our footprint in eCommerce and digital retail. Our team is in a rapid growth phase, making this a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a scaling SaaS startup environment. You will own the full sales cycle, engage with leading brands, and help them solve complex data challenges while driving revenue growth.What You’ll Do
- Manage the Full Sales Cycle – Own everything from prospecting to closing, with a focus on acquiring new customers while driving expansion opportunities with existing accounts.
- Engage with eCommerce & Retail Brands – Build relationships with top companies, understand their biggest data challenges, and position our platform as a solution.
- Develop a New Market Segment – Leverage your network, generate leads, and establish a strong pipeline to expand into the US eCommerce market.
- Achieve Revenue Goals – Convert leads and target accounts into customers, meeting quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Consultative Selling – Identify customer pain points and present tailored data management solutions that deliver clear business value. Use case studies and real-world examples to strengthen your pitch.
- Collaborate with a Global Team – Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Presales, and Customer Success to enhance the customer experience and optimize the sales funnel.
- Stay Current on Industry Trends – Keep up with developments in eCommerce, data management, and analytics to effectively position our platform.
- Maintain a Strong Pipeline – Use Salesforce to manage your territory, track opportunities, and meet activity and reporting targets on your way to quota.
What We’re Looking For
Minimum Requirements - 3+ years of full-cycle SaaS sales experience, preferably in a solution-based environment.
- Industry expertise in eCommerce or digital retail, with knowledge of key challenges and opportunities.
- Strong technical aptitude – Ability to quickly learn and communicate the value of data solutions.
- Proven sales success, with a history of exceeding targets.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to present and build trust at all levels.
- Adaptability in a fast-paced startup environment, comfortable navigating ambiguity.
Preferred Qualifications - 5+ years of SaaS sales experience, ideally in eCommerce/Retail.
- Experience closing large enterprise deals ($100K+).
- Familiarity with data management, analytics, or cloud platforms.
- Salesforce experience for pipeline tracking and forecasting.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $100,000 – $125,000 per year
- On-Target Earnings (OTE): ~$200,000 with uncapped commissions

The final salary will be based on several factors, including experience, education, specialized skills, and market conditions. This role also includes a performance-based incentive structure, offering significant earning potential through commissions.
