The company is seeking a senior financial leader to drive strategic growth, operational excellence, and cross-functional collaboration. With a solid EBITDA and ambitious expansion plans, this organisation prioritises experienced leadership who can navigate complex financial and operational environments, and effectively engage with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

The Role:
This is a strategic CFO role, combining operational finance and commercial leadership. The incumbent will work closely with executive leadership to contextualise department performance, support go-to-market initiatives, and provide financial insights to fuel growth. Key to success is a hands-on approach, cross-department collaboration, and readiness for frequent customer-facing engagements, including travel. This role exists to lead financial planning and operational scaling as the company accelerates its expansion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead operational and financial strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate growth objectives
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, particularly in go-to-market and technology functions
• Provide insightful analysis of department performance to inform executive decision-making
• Manage financial planning, reporting, and performance tracking at an executive level
• Engage directly with customers and partners to support commercial initiatives
• Drive operational excellence, scaling the platform efficiently and effectively
• Travel weekly for the initial six months to establish onsite leadership presence
• Support EBITDA growth and investment prioritisation

Requirements / Who We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience in finance leadership within high-growth environments
• Strong payments industry background with validation of relevant payments experience (non-negotiable)
• Ability to operate cross-functionally, especially in GTM and operational finance
• Excellent communicator with polished, persuasive presence
• Track record of collaborating with tech teams and leading operational scaling
• Comfortable with frequent travel and making long-term commitments
• Strategic thinker with a hands-on, energetic leadership style
