Role Overview

This is a high-impact finance leadership role at the core of a complex, fast-evolving financial services platform spanning registered broker-dealers, futures activity, crypto products, and affiliated operating entities.

You will own the end-to-end financial reporting and consolidation function across multiple regulated businesses, lead high-performing Accounting and FP&A teams, and act as a key partner to senior leadership on financial strategy, controls, and scalability.

This role blends technical accounting depth, regulatory rigor, and forward-looking financial leadership, offering direct exposure to regulators, auditors, and executive decision-making—while playing a meaningful role in shaping the firm’s next phase of growth.

What You’ll Do

Financial Leadership & Reporting

• Own and continuously enhance financial reporting across multiple entities, including broker-dealers, futures operations, and crypto products

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and audit-ready reporting

• Manage the parent-level consolidation and close process across all subsidiaries

Regulatory & Audit Oversight

• Serve as a key finance counterpart for regulatory reporting related to broker-dealer operations

• Lead financial and regulatory audits, partnering closely with external auditors, regulators, and state authorities

• Oversee regulatory correspondence and ensure ongoing compliance with applicable financial rules and standards

Controls, Systems & Scale

• Design, implement, and enhance financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to support a regulated, multi-entity environment

• Drive system implementations and upgrades, improving data integrity, automation, and reporting efficiency

• Identify gaps, risks, and inefficiencies—and turn them into scalable, durable solutions

People & Cross-Functional Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop Accounting and FP&A teams, building a strong culture of ownership and technical excellence

• Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Compliance, Technology, and Business leaders

• Act as a trusted finance liaison between local teams and global headquarters

Strategic Impact

• Contribute to enterprise-wide initiatives and special projects

• Support strategic planning, forecasting, and operational decision-making

• Play a visible role in shaping the finance function as the business grows in complexity and scale

What We’re Looking For

Experience & Expertise

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field

• CPA strongly preferred

• 8+ years of accounting experience within brokerage firms, futures, and/or crypto-focused financial services

• Proven experience with broker-dealer regulatory reporting

• Deep understanding of multi-entity accounting, consolidation, and financial controls

• Strong knowledge of asset classes including equities, futures, and digital assets

• Experience working across accounting systems and integrated financial platforms

• Clear, credible communicator with regulators, auditors, and senior executives

Compensation:
Base salary range: $120,000 – $180,000, depending on experience, location, and business needs.
This role is also eligible for a discretionary performance bonus.
