Head of Banking/Network Partnerships
Location: Remote (U.S.)
Compensation: $175K–$250K base + equity + benefits
My client is a high-growth payments infrastructure provider, who are seeking a seasoned Head of Financial Partnerships to lead relationships with sponsor banks and major card networks across the U.S. and Canada. This role is key to driving strategic initiatives, resolving operational challenges, and scaling industry relationships.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee commercial, strategic, and daily management of sponsor bank and card brand partnerships (including Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover).

Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, risk, and compliance teams.

Represent the company at industry events and maintain executive-level relationships.

Report on partnership health, growth opportunities, and strategic initiatives.
Requirements

10+ years in partnerships, business development, or corporate development.

8+ years in the payments ecosystem or card networks (cross-border acquiring experience is preferred).

Strong experience negotiating high-value, industry-impacting deals.

Deep knowledge of card network operations and trends.

Skilled in influencing stakeholders, including executives and regulators.

Excellent communication and project leadership skills.
