    Estimated Pay Range: $120,000 plus bonus*

Storm2 is currently working with a NYSE-listed FinTech company that moves $1T+ every month in partnership with companies such as Apple, Google, Walgreens and Amazon. They are now building a new FinTech branch that will be focused on Embedded Finance solutions. The engineering leadership team consists of people from Amazon, Lyft, Google and Coinbase.

 

They are currently looking to bring a hands-on engineering manager who will be working on their core product.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Guide technical decisions through architectural, design, and code reviews, as well as post-mortems
  • Leading a team of 5 to 15 software engineers and technical leads, removing obstacles to maximize their productivity, and advancing their career development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, TPM, design etc.) to bring ideas to fruition.

 

Qualifications

 

  • 6+ years of IC experience; 3+ years of experience managing technical employees in a supervisory capacity
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor engineers, cultivating a culture of innovation.
  • Experience with providing live on-call support and overseeing the continuous 24/7 operation of production services.
  • Strong preference for experience in Fintech and/or Payments
