KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
 

1. Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy aligned with business objectives.
2. Design secure cloud architecture and application frameworks, integrating security controls such as encryption and access management.
3. Identify, assess, and prioritize cybersecurity risks, developing effective mitigation strategies.
4. Ensure compliance with industry regulations such as PCI and GDPR.
5. Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures.
6. Oversee incident response planning and execution for cybersecurity incidents.
7. Promote cybersecurity awareness across the organization through training and educational programs.
8. Evaluate and manage third-party vendor security risks and relationships.
9. Oversee the selection, implementation, and management of security technologies and tools.
10. Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure cybersecurity effectiveness.
11. Develop and manage the cybersecurity budget efficiently.

 
 
QUALIFICATIONS
 

1. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
2. Seven (7) years of experience in Security Analysis or senior cybersecurity leadership roles in the regulated payments industry.
3. Experience with AWS.
4. In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and standards.
5. Strong understanding of relevant regulations and compliance requirements.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Experience in managing and leading cybersecurity teams.
8. Relevant certifications preferred (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA).
9. Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
10. Proven track record of successful cybersecurity strategy development and implementation.

About the Position: We are in search of an experienced Senior Manager of Human Resources to join our rapidly expanding startup. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in HR operations, preferably gained from working in startups or small to medium-sized enterprises. This role is pivotal in overseeing employee relations, payroll, policy implementation, compliance, and contributing to our company’s overall success. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day HR operations and collaborate closely with the Chief People Officer on strategic organizational planning.

• Manage our workforce management software, Rippling, which integrates HR, IT, and Finance functions.
• Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints and ensure timely resolution of conflicts or disputes.
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment through effective employee relations initiatives and conflict resolution strategies.
• Drive employee engagement through recognition programs, feedback mechanisms, and surveys.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and managers, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• 5-8 years of HR management experience in small to medium-sized businesses, particularly with out-of-state employees and sponsorship expertise.
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher qualification.
• Previous experience in job sponsorship/H1-B sponsorship is essential.
• Preferred certifications include SHRM-CP or PHR.
• Startup and fintech experience is highly desirable, along with a track record of global employee management and HRIS/payroll system implementation.
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills.
