Strategic Account Executive
Storm2 has partnered with a market leading payments company to identify their next Strategic Account Executive. Our client is seeking an experienced payments professional to drive growth through their ISV/PayFac partnerships model. With an industry-leading team consistently exceeding quotas and a proven track record of success, this role offers an exceptional opportunity for a skilled sales professional to join one of the fastest-growing divisions in the company.
Responsibilities:
- Drive strategic partnerships with ISV/PayFac organizations across the US and Canada, with occasional involvement in UK and Australian markets
- Evaluate and qualify potential ISV partners, focusing on established enterprise and mid-market opportunities
- Lead complex contract negotiations and manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing
- Utilize deep technical knowledge to consult on API implementations, tokenization solutions, and payment processing workflows
- Navigate partner boarding and funding processes to ensure successful implementation
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across partner organizations
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth partner onboarding and ongoing success
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in ISV/PayFac sales, preferably from leading payment organizations.
- Proven expertise in payment technologies, including APIs, tokenization, Apple Pay, and related solutions
- Strong track record in enterprise and mid-market sales with a consultative approach
- Exceptional contract negotiation skills with experience in redlining
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate business opportunities and identify high-potential partnerships
- Experience managing complex, long-term partnership relationships
