About the Role
The Senior Vice President of Marketing will be a strategic leader responsible for driving the company’s marketing vision and execution. This individual will oversee all aspects of marketing, including brand strategy, demand generation, product marketing, and business development. Reporting directly to the executive leadership team, the SVP of Marketing will lead a global team of 20, including six direct reports, and work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with company objectives, focusing on brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing marketing team across various functions, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
- Demand Generation: Drive pipeline growth through integrated campaigns, digital marketing, and account-based marketing strategies.
- Product Marketing: Define and communicate the value proposition, positioning, and messaging for the company’s offerings to target audiences.
- Business Development Support: Collaborate with sales and partnerships teams to identify growth opportunities, support go-to-market initiatives, and enhance client relationships.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize analytics and performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and continuously optimize strategies.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of progressive experience in marketing leadership roles, preferably within the SaaS or technology sector.
- Proven track record of driving significant brand growth and demand generation in a competitive market.
- Exceptional leadership skills with experience managing and scaling global teams.
- Strong expertise in digital marketing, content strategy, and product marketing.
- Ability to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling messaging for diverse audiences.
- Data-oriented mindset with the ability to analyze metrics and make strategic decisions based on insights.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
