Responsibilities:

  • Design and build scalable, high-performance backend systems in Java
  • Develop and maintain complex distributed services and APIs (REST, gRPC)
  • Own CI/CD pipelines and production systems from design through deployment
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and partner ecosystem
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team growth
  • Drive architectural decisions around core blockchain platform capabilities

 

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of backend engineering experience (Java expert required)
  • Strong proficiency with Spring Boot and microservices architecture
  • Deep knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, etc.)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, or GCP preferred) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or related field
  • Comfortable being in their Sunnyvale office Monday – Thursday, work from home on Fridays.
