💼 About the Role
The Finance Manager will lead all aspects of the company’s financial operations, forecasting, and performance tracking. This is a high-ownership role where the individual will step in as the primary finance lead, taking over key responsibilities from the founder and working closely with the leadership team.
This role offers significant visibility and the opportunity to directly influence strategic decision-making. The Finance Manager will partner with the CEO, outsourced CPA, and stakeholders across the business to implement financial discipline and help steer the company through a critical growth phase.
🔑 Key Responsibilities

Manage the monthly financial close process in collaboration with the outsourced accounting firm

Build and maintain detailed financial models, including cash flow forecasts and long-range planning

Track core business KPIs and prepare regular dashboards and performance updates for leadership and investors

Oversee payables, vendor management, and ensure healthy cash flow

Support board materials, investor reporting, and fundraising planning

Improve or establish financial systems, tools, and processes that support scale and transparency
🎯 Candidate Profile
Required Qualifications:

3–6 years of experience in finance or operations, preferably within a consumer fintech or high-growth startup

Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and cash flow analysis

Comfortable owning end-to-end finance responsibilities in a lean team structure

Analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced, in-office environment

Familiarity with fintech business models, revenue mechanics, or payments infrastructure
Preferred Experience:

Previous work at or with consumer finance startups such as Chime, Current, Petal, Upside, or Revolut

Experience supporting fundraising efforts, financial diligence, or investor relations

Understanding of payment flows, interchange, or embedded finance products
