Award-winning FinTech recruiter Storm2 have launched their third global hub in Amsterdam.
The rapidly expanding recruitment market leader launched in August 2019 and, following month-on-month success connecting C-Suite professionals to innovative FinTechs worldwide, the company have launched their Amsterdam office to further service the European market. The launch follows on from their first international expansion in Singapore at the start of 2021 and marks the start of a huge hiring drive across all three offices, including London.
Leading the European business is Angela Ward and, having already hired 20 specialist consultants in Amsterdam, the team are looking to double their headcount by the end of 2021. Angela’s team will be driving the European arm of the business which hired 120 consultants globally in April.
James Brown, Founder, said: “Amsterdam, as a key global hub for FinTech, was an easy choice of location to launch our European HQ. Angela is an industry renowned leader in the global recruitment market, having scaled businesses in both Asia and Benelux for SThree PLC. With her leadership, we know that the team will quickly establish themselves as the go-to FinTech recruiter in Mainland Europe and grow the Storm2 brand.”
Angela Ward, VP for Europe and leading the Amsterdam launch, said: “Amsterdam is at the centre of so much FinTech activity and attracts some of the top European Tech talent. It’s a magnet for US businesses looking to expand their European reach and due it’s connectivity to millions of people across the continent, it’s no surprise why! I’m thrilled to be driving the Storm2 brand in the region and connecting top tier European talent to the innovative FinTechs on the continent.”
