Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance our blockchain infrastructure using Rust and/or Move programming languages.
- Design and optimize Layer 1 and Layer 2 protocols to improve scalability and performance on our blockchain platform.
- Build decentralized, trustless systems that ensure security and immutability across the platform.
- Collaborate with the core development team to resolve performance issues and address security vulnerabilities.
- Conduct thorough code reviews and offer constructive feedback to maintain high-quality, maintainable code.
- Stay informed about the latest trends in blockchain technology and contribute to the ongoing evolution of our platform.
- Open-source contributors will be given strong consideration.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of strong experience with Rust, including a deep understanding of its unique features and best practices.
- Expertise in blockchain concepts, including networking, consensus protocols, parallel execution, and storage.
- Experience in creating decentralized, trustless systems, with a focus on scalability and performance optimization.
- In-depth knowledge of system-level performance tuning techniques like memory management and CPU optimization.
- Familiarity with blockchain security practices and the ability to identify and address potential vulnerabilities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive communication skills, with native-level proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Proficiency in Move programming language.
- Preferred: Experience with Move Runtime (Aptos Move is a plus).
- Nice to have: Experience with Move Smart Contracts.
- Open-source project contributions are a plus.
