The Company 

Our client is a cross-border payments FinTech, backed by an established corporate group, building financial transfer products for markets across the Americas. They’re in a platform scaling phase across the US and LATAM, and this hire sits at the centre of making that happen. 

The Role 

You’d report directly to the COO and work in close alignment with the CFO, CCO, and CTO. The scope spans development, infrastructure, external processing, and information security, across Finance, Compliance, and Technology simultaneously. That breadth is real, and so is the authority that comes with it. You’re not a go-between. You’re the person accountable for delivery. 

The business is in a build phase, which means the governance frameworks and processes you put in place will shape how programs run as the platform scales. There’s genuine scope to define the function, not just fill it. The corporate backing provides stability, but day to day this operates at startup pace 
 

What you’ll be working on: 

• Lead program management across payment platform initiatives in the US and LATAM, keeping delivery aligned with business strategy and regulatory requirements including BSA/AML and OFAC 

• Direct integration delivery with banks, payment processors, and fintech partners, covering technical, operational, and due-diligence requirements 

• Build and own agile governance, documentation frameworks, and internal controls that hold up to audit 

• Manage schedules, budgets, and resource allocation across multiple concurrent workstreams 

• Oversee risk management processes including transaction monitoring, fraud prevention, and sanctions screening 

• Serve as the primary coordination point between C-suite, strategic partners, vendors, and financial institutions 

• Report program status, risks, and results to senior leadership to support strategic decisions 

What you’ll bring: 

• 5+ years in project or program management with a focus on technology projects and integrations 

• Background in fintech, payments, banking, or regulated environments 

• A track record driving complex, multi-stakeholder programs to delivery, not just tracking them 

• Firm vendor management: you push for commitments, hold people accountable, and make calls under pressure 

• Experience taking programs from MVP through subsequent delivery phases 

• Working knowledge of agile methodologies, portfolio management, and technical integrations (APIs, external systems) 

• Professional fluency in English and Spanish 

Nice to have: 

• PMP, PgMP, Scrum, or equivalent certification 

• Knowledge of technical architecture (microservices, APIs) 

• US and LATAM regional expansion experience 

• Familiarity with ClickUp, Jira, MS Project, or similar 

• MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification
