Senior Software Engineer – Agentic Identity
About the Company
We’re an early-stage technology company building infrastructure that helps organisations establish trust online. Our platform combines data from a wide range of sources to help customers understand the businesses and individuals they work with, reduce risk, and make decisions in real time.
Our technology supports clients across financial services, digital commerce, marketplaces, and other regulated industries where identity, compliance, and fraud prevention are critical. We’re building foundational infrastructure that enables businesses to verify counterparties, assess risk, and operate with confidence at scale.
As we continue to grow, we’re investing heavily in the next generation of identity and trust systems designed for an increasingly automated and AI-driven world.
About the Team
We’re tackling complex challenges at the intersection of distributed systems, identity, fraud prevention, graph-based data modelling, and machine learning.
Our team combines deep technical expertise with a startup mindset. Engineers work closely with product and leadership, own meaningful areas of the platform, and have the opportunity to influence both architecture and long-term strategy.
You’ll join a small, highly collaborative environment where ideas move quickly from concept to production and where solving difficult technical problems is part of the day-to-day.
About the Role
We’re building a new identity platform designed for a future where software agents, applications, and businesses increasingly interact autonomously across digital ecosystems.
We’re looking for an experienced engineer to help design and build core identity infrastructure, including credential issuance, verification systems, auditability frameworks, and trust services that enable secure interactions between organisations, applications, and automated actors.
This role offers significant ownership of critical platform components and the opportunity to shape foundational technology from the ground up.

- Design and build systems for secure identity, authentication, and credential management.
- Develop scalable services supporting token issuance, verification, authorisation, and lifecycle management.
- Contribute to standards-driven identity frameworks and interoperability between platforms.
- Build highly available systems focused on performance, reliability, and security.
- Develop user and organisation identity services, onboarding flows, and account management infrastructure.
- Implement auditability, compliance, and governance capabilities across the platform.
- Work across Python- and Go-based services to deliver production-ready solutions.
- Collaborate closely with product, infrastructure, and leadership teams to define and execute technical strategy.
Requirements
- Experience building production systems where identity, authentication, security, or cryptographic integrity are core requirements.
- Strong software engineering experience with Python, Go, or similar backend technologies.
- Deep understanding of authentication and authorisation concepts, including modern identity standards.
- Experience designing and operating distributed systems in production environments.
- Strong knowledge of relational databases, performance optimisation, observability, and operational best practices.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of significant technical initiatives.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with digital identity, verifiable credentials, authentication platforms, or trust infrastructure.
- Background in financial services, compliance technology, fraud prevention, or risk systems.
- Experience building highly scalable APIs and low-latency distributed services.
- Familiarity with modern cloud infrastructure and edge computing environments.
- Experience working with regulated data or identity verification workflows.
- Knowledge of emerging identity standards and trust frameworks.
