The Company
Storm2’s client is a global commerce infrastructure business powering in-store, online, and mobile payments for enterprise brands across retail, hospitality, and financial services. Their platform handles complex, high-volume environments and is built around a unified, API-first technology stack used across multiple continents. They operate at real scale, where performance, uptime, and security are non-negotiable.
The Role
This is not a feature-level product role. You own a full domain, strategy, roadmap, and outcomes, and you are accountable for what actually ships and the impact it has. The environment is highly technical, with strong engineering partners and a growing focus on AI-enabled product development, so you need to be comfortable making architectural decisions, not just prioritising tickets.
It suits someone who has moved beyond execution and wants to shape direction, influence investment decisions, and lead other product managers. You will be the person people come to when trade-offs need to be made, whether that’s scope, architecture, or sequencing across multiple teams.
What you’ll be working on:
- Owning a full product domain across payments, identity, security, or data
- Setting long-term product strategy and translating that into a clear, deliverable roadmap
- Prioritising investment based on customer demand, technical constraints, and commercial impact
- Leading and developing Technical Product Managers within your domain
- Acting as the senior product voice in cross-functional and executive conversations
- Driving alignment across engineering, sales, and leadership for complex initiatives
- Ensuring every initiative entering the domain is well-defined and built to a high standard
- Making final calls on trade-offs across scope, architecture, and delivery sequencing
What you’ll bring:
- 10 to 15 years in product management or technical roles, with clear ownership of strategy and roadmap
- Strong technical grounding, ideally in APIs, integrations, or platform architecture
- Experience operating at scale in enterprise or platform businesses
- A track record of making high-impact product decisions in complex environments
- Previous experience leading or mentoring product managers
- The ability to translate customer and commercial inputs into clear product direction
- Confidence working with senior stakeholders and influencing at executive level
Nice to have:
- Background in payments, fintech, or enterprise SaaS
- Experience with platform or multi-product ecosystems
- Exposure to data, analytics, or AI-led product development
- Experience in organisations adopting AI-enabled product models
