The Opportunity

A growing fintech lender is looking for a senior Collections leader to oversee recovery strategy, portfolio performance, and team management across its lending business. This role will be responsible for optimizing collections outcomes, improving processes, and building a scalable operation as the company continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead collections and recovery strategy across delinquent accounts.
• Manage and develop collections managers, team leads, and recovery staff.
• Oversee legal escalations, external agencies, and recovery vendors.
• Use portfolio data and analytics to improve recovery rates and reduce losses.
• Partner with Risk, Finance, Operations, and Product teams to drive performance.

Ideal Background

• 8+ years in collections, recoveries, credit risk, or servicing.
• Leadership experience managing collections teams and managers.
• Background in lending, fintech, specialty finance, or commercial credit.
• Strong analytical and operational management skills.
• Experience with legal recoveries and vendor oversight.
