Director of Revenue Operations

Our client is a high-growth fintech lender that has provided over $5B in funding to more than 55,000 SMBs nationwide. Following significant recent investment, the company is continuing to scale its go-to-market teams and revenue infrastructure to support its next phase of growth.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Director of Revenue Operations to lead the strategy and execution of Sales, Marketing, and Partnerships Operations.

This individual will be responsible for optimizing the operational functions that support revenue-generating teams, driving process improvement, system enhancements, reporting, forecasting, and cross-functional alignment. The role will manage both onshore and offshore resources while partnering closely with executive leadership, department heads, and technical teams to create a scalable and efficient revenue engine.

This position requires a unique blend of leadership, operational excellence, analytics, and strategic thinking, with a strong focus on eliminating bottlenecks and improving the end-to-end customer journey.

Key Responsibilities

Revenue Operations Leadership

  • Lead Revenue Operations across Sales, Marketing, and Partnerships.
  • Manage and develop a team of onshore and offshore Operations professionals.
  • Act as a strategic partner to executive leadership and department heads.
  • Prioritize and oversee key operational initiatives, projects, and business-critical issues.

Forecasting, Planning & Analytics

  • Coordinate forecasting, planning, and budgeting across revenue-generating functions.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to drive business performance.
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and accuracy across sales reporting and operational data.
  • Partner with Sales Leadership on quota planning and performance expectations.

Process Optimization

  • Continually assess and improve workflows across Sales, Marketing, and Partnerships.
  • Develop and execute lead distribution strategies that maximize conversion and efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvements and drive implementation.
  • Deliver a seamless customer journey through process alignment and optimization.

Systems & Technology

  • Own and optimize the Salesforce ecosystem and associated revenue technologies.
  • Implement and manage Sales Enablement tools and processes.
  • Oversee API integrations, partner integrations, and commission approval workflows.
  • Gather business requirements and work closely with technical stakeholders to deliver solutions.

Data Governance & Compliance

  • Maintain CRM data integrity, quality assurance standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Establish best practices around data privacy, security, and governance.
  • Oversee Salesforce Shield and related security initiatives.
  • Ensure accurate and actionable intelligence is delivered across the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Salesforce Administrator Certification (or equivalent Salesforce Certification) required.
  • 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience.
  • 3+ years managing and coaching teams, including offshore resources.
  • 2+ years administering a highly complex Salesforce environment within Financial Services.
  • Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, sales planning, and KPI analysis.
  • Experience auditing Salesforce environments and optimizing workflows.
  • Expertise managing Salesforce APIs, Apex integrations, and external platforms.
  • Proven track record designing and implementing reporting frameworks and operational processes.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience partnering across executive, business, and technical teams.

Preferred Background

  • Fintech, lending, financial services, payments, or B2B SaaS experience.
  • Experience supporting high-volume transactional sales organizations.
  • Deep understanding of Revenue Operations best practices across Sales, Marketing, and Partnerships.
  • Experience scaling processes and systems within a fast-growing organization.
  • Familiarity with modern RevOps technology stacks and automation tools.
