The Opportunity

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will design and build the services that power high-performance infrastructure and data platforms. You will play a key role in developing scalable backend systems, improving platform reliability, and helping to launch new product offerings.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build high-performance APIs and backend services
• Develop and scale systems for data ingestion, processing, storage, and querying
• Implement customer-facing platform features, including management, billing, and access control functionality
• Improve reliability, observability, and performance across distributed systems
• Contribute to infrastructure and platform architecture decisions
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and leadership teams to deliver new capabilities

About You

• 5+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong experience developing applications in Go
• Experience working with AWS, GCP, Azure, or other cloud environments
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and scalable backend architectures
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience

Preferred Experience

• Experience working within the blockchain industry
• Contributions to open-source projects or technical communities
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or similar containerization and orchestration technologies
• Experience building secure, multi-tenant platforms
• Experience performance testing and optimizing high-scale distributed systems
• Familiarity with data-intensive applications, real-time systems, or API platforms
